Welcome to CCU's website!

Welcome to the Chaffee County United Soccer Club (CCU) website.

CCU offers both recreational and competitive soccer opportunities in one organization.

Our apologies for these untimely changes, but it has been brought to
our attention that there are some conflicting events this Thursday, so
we would like to change our parent player meeting from this Thursday
at 7pm, to this Sunday, August 23rd, at 5 pm.  Hopefully this will also be
a better time for our youngest players, that need to get ready for
school!  We will do our best to keep this meeting efficient and

Another change that we would like to acknowledge is the increase in
fees.  We understand that this is sudden, and if you need financial
assistance, we have a limited scholarship fund.  We want you to
understand that the increase was essential in order to keep our
organization viable.  We want to provide your child with a  quality
program, and we hope that this investment will provide your child with
a healthy, successful, and fun experience.

Registration deadline is still this Friday, August 21st.  Please
spread the word.

Looking forward to seeing you this Sunday at 5pm, at the Salida Middle
School common area.

Thank you for your patience.

Chaffee County United Soccer Club Launches Fall Registration, Names New Administrator

SALIDA (July 15, 2015) – CCU Soccer Club was founded in 2000 with the intent of providing competitive opportunities for male and female soccer players in Chaffee County, and surrounding areas.  In 2013 CCU, merged with Salida Youth Soccer Association to bring recreational and competitive soccer in the region, under one organization.  This volunteer driven, non-profit organization promotes and fosters the development of soccer in a safe and enjoyable environment.  CCU continues to grow and looks forward to expanding both recreational and competitive soccer platforms for all.

Improving the soccer experience for players and families is a key goal. Thus CCU will be utilizing a paid administrator to oversee management of the club, and its operations.  The Board is pleased to welcome Robin NeJame to that position.  CCU Soccer Board President  Joel Schaler stated, “  We are very excited to have Robin join CCU. She brings great organizational and fund raising skill which will help us continue moving towards our goal of having the best soccer club in the region.”  NeJame has experience in event directing, promotion of enrichment activities for youth in the Chaffee County community, and in education.  “Chaffee County United is a well-established organization that brings great opportunities to our youth.  It is a privilege to be able to work with such a passionate Board, and a supportive soccer community,” said NeJame.

Chaffee County United (CCU) Soccer is launching their fall on-line registration on July 27, 2015.  Registration will close on August 21, 2015. The Recreational soccer program will start on 8/24/2015 and provides opportunities, for children ages four and up.  The Competitive soccer program starts the week of July 29 and is for experienced players wanting to take their skills to the next level.  Tryouts are required for participation in the Competitive program.   There will be a mandatory club meeting for players and parents at the beginning of each season.  To register or for more information, visit

Please join us in welcoming Robin NeJame to this role and we look forward to continue building the best soccer program in the region.
